Support YFSHK

It Takes Each of US to Make A Difference for All of Us”— Jackie Mutcheson

Our commitment to finding solutions, transforming lives and empowering children, youth and families in their endeavor to build healthy lifestyles is dependent on the collaboration between mentors, law enforcement, government officials, teachers, students, friends and neighbors. Together, we have been building a stronger, healthier environment for children, youth and families for nearly 30 years.

YFSHK runs on the generous support of the members of our local community. This includes the towns of Haddam and Killingworth, state and federal grants, the State Department of Education, private and corporate donations, proceeds from fundraising events and other grants from private foundations. Grant funds are designated for certain programs as outlined in the goals and objectives of each grant.

Continued Support As We Grow

YFSHK continues to expand its programs and services to meet the needs of our growing communities. Collaboration with over one hundred organization including Regional School District 17 is ongoing to identify the needs of Haddam and Killingworth youth and families.

Other funding support for “Assets in Action” and Early Childhood initiatives comes from Middlesex United Way, which is advancing the common good in Middlesex County by investing in the building blocks for a good life – education, income, health and housing.

YFSHK also receives a grant for prevention efforts from the State Department of Mental Health and Addition Services via the Middlesex County Substance Abuse Action Council.
